Who is the Lord putting on your heart to encourage and build up?
Below are five of my favorite verses about building each other up.
1 Thes. 5:11 – So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
Hebrews 10:24-25 – Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
1 Cor. 14:26 – Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.
Romans 14:19 – So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.
Proverbs 27:17 – As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
