When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” [1] Judges 6:12
The Lord was calling Gideon to do something that he thought was impossible and yet this was the Lord’s plan for his life. What about you? Think of the amazing plans the Lord has for you that you may think are impossible. You may think I could never do that or be that. The Lord is the best teacher we have ever had and sees potential in us that we don’t see. He knows you have that potential because He created you for those deeds you think are impossible.
How do I unlock those wonderful plans the Lord has for my life? The Apostle Paul tells us how in Romans 12:2, Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. [2]
God’s will is
revealed as I grow in my relationship with my Savior. As I let His word
transform my heart it enables the Holy Spirit to reveal his plans for me. Let
God’s word flow over and through you like a giant river. Ask the Lord in prayer
to reveal his plans to you. You will be amazed what happens.
