The Light of Christ Journey

Encouraging people on their journey with Christ

Today’s Scripture & Insight: Hebrews 1:14

Have you ever wondered if there were angels among us as we go along our daily life? If so, what are they doing? Angels are talked about throughout the Bible interacting with man as directed by God. In our story of Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch, an angel gives Philip direction where to travel. The angel’s direction enables Philip to minister to a man that he would not otherwise interact with. This encounter is only possible with God’s intervention. The book of Hebrews, chapter one verse 14, gives us insight into angels. Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? [1]

If you believe in Jesus as your Savior or will believe in Jesus in your lifetime, there are angels that minister to you that you are not aware of. Although angels can become visible, most of the time they are invisible to our eyes. Angels like people were created by God. Angels do not become human beings and human beings don’t become angels.

What do we learn about God that He sends angels into your life to minister in the invisible realm on your behalf? What does this say about how much the Lord loves you?
