Testimony: My boss shared the Good News of Jesus with me, but I was not interested at the time. During a health crisis all seemed lost. As I was slipping into eternity without Jesus as my Savior, I cried out to Him in desperation. I called out to Jesus in my heart because I was too ill to speak, and He appeared alongside my bed in a ball of light.
Then I died and went to heaven where I experienced the love of the Jesus and sights men never see. The doctors went on to shock my heart and I was brought back to life. I experienced such an amazing conversion because my boss shared the Good News of Jesus with me.
Philip Shared the Good News of Jesus
The treasurer of Ethiopia had gone to Jerusalem to worship. While on the way home he was reading aloud from the scroll of the prophet Isaiah. The Holy Spirit guided Philip to walk along the man in the carriage and so he did.
Acts 8:30Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?”
31 The man replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him. 32 The passage of Scripture he had been reading was this: “He was led like a sheep to the slaughter. And as a lamb is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. 33 He was humiliated and received no justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth.”
34 The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, was the prophet talking about himself or someone else?” 35 So beginning with this same Scripture, Philip told him the Good News about Jesus. [1]
You Can Share the Good News of Jesus
Sharing the Good News of Jesus with someone who does not know the Lord as their Savior is something you can only do in this world. The opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus with others is a gift from the Lord. Jesus reminds us that the Gospel is like a treasure which changes everything and opens the door to an amazing new life.
Matthew 13:44 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field. [2] We are not to keep this treasure to ourselves but look for opportunities to share what God has done for us. Simply tell others the life-changing discoveries that happened through your faith in Jesus. Remember with God’s help you can share this treasure and impact others today and in eternity.
