As we grow in faith, seeing people through God’s eyes makes us aware of the needs of others. This is usually something that we might not have noticed before. In our “Journey with Guests” interview, Mike Bradley noticed that as he grew in faith, God opened his eyes to how God saw other people. He now began to see people in need of love. He began to see people in need of a Savior, and he could be used by God to share His love.

Do you desire to see people through the Lord’s eyes? Jesus tells us in Matthew 9:36-38 –When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” [1]

A desire to see others as God sees them is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in your heart. The Lord wants everyone to grow in compassion for others. Continue to pray and ask the Lord to show you how you can make a difference in the people around you. You will be amazed what the Lord will do!
