Jesus was a safe place for sinners and that is why they flocked to Him. Many people feel invisible and worthless today. Maybe there were times in your life when you felt invisible and worthless. Maybe you feel that way today.

In our “Journey with Guests” interview, Mike Bradley shares how, as a young man in the Air Force, there was a group of young men who gave him a safe place to explore the Christian faith. This safe place allowed him to ask questions. The atmosphere his friends created allowed him to take a step of faith and become a follower of Jesus. This step of faith changed his life now and for eternity.

Is the Lord calling you to be that safe place for someone else? It is a major step of faith when we move forward to be that refuge for others. It could be a friend, a co-worker, a neighbor or someone else that the Lord has put on your heart to be a safe place for.

Jesus tells us in John 13:-34-35 about how to create that safe space for others. It is called love. So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” [1]

When we love one another, we create a safe place for others to come to know Jesus or grow in knowing Jesus.
