God has plan which is evident from creation to His plans for our lives. God’s plans are always in the proper order, including the day you are born. There came a time when the Lord decided to create the universe with stars, planets, and a special place called earth. On this earth, He placed humanity on the sixth day.
For many years I had an aquarium. I needed to prepare the aquarium before I could add the fish. Like the fish, humans require a prepared place. God created them at just the right time. Can you imagine being Adam and waking up on earth? He would awaken in a perfect world with a creator that loved Him.
God Had a Plan for Each Day of Creation
Can you imagine the smile on the Lord’s face as He completed each part of creation, enjoying each step of His creativity? Sometimes we read over the creation story and do not realize all the thought the Lord put into His design and how long He thought about it before He began.
God Has a Plan for You
As people, we are eternal beings that the Lord loves and has created with much thought. In life, we have many choices, but God determined what you would look like, your personality, your parents, and where and when you are born. The Lord also has impressive plans for your life tailored to who you are and the time you would be on His earth.
Paul writes about God’s plan and our walk of faith. Romans 12:2Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. [1]
For God’s plan to unfold in our life, He begins by calling us to place our faith in Jesus as our Savior. This begins God’s perfect plan for our lives; as we seek Him, He will make His excellent plan known to us. I may have my plans, but I find real fulfillment as I give up my plans for God’s plan. Thank you, Lord, for your plans for me!
