The Light of Christ Journey

Encouraging people on their journey with Christ

Today’s Scripture & Insight: Isaiah 40:26

God is always teaching me something, but how do I respond? On a clear night the many stars give insight into the majesty of God. I remember being out in the country one evening. Because there was very little back light, this allowed me to clearly see the majesty of the Milky Way. As we look at the stars what is the Lord showing us?

26 Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing. [1]Isaiah 40:26

The Lord is showing us what an amazing creator He is, and He is putting it on display for everyone to see.

What is the Lord teaching you today? You may be experiencing difficult circumstances in your life. The Lord can use this to call to you. He wants you to look up and to depend on Him. Maybe you are experiencing a wonderful time in your life and the Lord is saying, “But don’t forget about Me.” I believe God is intervening in our lives and teaching us every day. Sometimes I just need to stop and look around to see where the Lord is working.

Thank you, Lord, for being such a wonderful patient teacher! Help me to be aware of all You are doing along my spiritual journey.
